Certainly don’t think that negative reports from these buy out days are a barometer of how things will be next week and beyond. But on the flip side, if the reports were very positive about this weekend, and every ride was running well and on maximum trains, there’d clearly be a lot more confidence that things will be ready next week.

Ride Availability/Operations 2022-26
They have a week to prepareOpening day is usually bad for availability so I just look forward to all the inevitable reactions of horror, shock and amusement. Always good fun.
So what, just because tickets are cheap it doesn't mean you should be getting a sub standard experience.Because you've paid £21 per person to get in, which I suspect is the cheapest ticket price most people are likely to see this season
Either having a refresh or just forgot to openMuch better day than yesterday ! Queues all quite short just loads of toilets closed !

Yes, but I'm pretty sure they were advertised as closed all day on the app before they opened. In reply to skyscraper:
Oblivion and Thirteen were not on the closed list the partnership published last week.
To ride the half that are open, at a discount? What's the point in going if half the rides are closed.
Operations have been really good today, wickerman team were smashing out the trains really efficiently.
I think Galatica was only running one train as it took forever in the short queue.
Very little ride down time, x sector opened late and 13 was being 13 but otherwise all was good

Thirteen closed at 15:30 for a cresting and full lift evac,
Been onsite both days, not been listed as closed all dayYes, but I'm pretty sure they were advertised as closed all day on the app before they opened.
How many trains were Rita Th13teen and Smiler on?Operations have been really good today, wickerman team were smashing out the trains really efficiently.

Is there any rhyme or reason why some ride teams seem to be far more efficient/rapid than others? Is it just a case of the geometry of rides and stations or are some teams just generally "better" than others?Operations have been really good today, wickerman team were smashing out the trains really efficiently.

I would say from what I've seen at Thorpe (rather than Towers) is it's definitely partly to do with the team. Some seem to work together better, communicate with each other and want to get trains out quickly - Inferno, Stealth for example. Some seem to be surprised they have anything to do, meandering about the platform, staring off into space, generally getting in the way - Swarm, Fish. Others seem hampered by guests - mainly Legoland and Chessington, where some people seem surprised to find a coaster at the end of the queue they've been standing in for the last hour.
Towers - I can't really remember. I don't go as often as Thorpe because it's further away and Chimp is fully in her teen era so views Thorpe as her second home and Towers as boring.
