Curse better in my opinion, but both Curse and Duel were very much ‘go on once per visit’ rides, mainly due to the throughput, more rides of its ilk required.

Went on Sunday and sadly alot of the effects were not working , trommel not spinning, the spider was fully blacked out and not showing, not even lights in the eyes were on. The projection where Emily turns into the spider finished with a big error message in the middle of the screen. The final scare was fully lit up before you even saw it and alot of the props on arms didn't move. Its such a shame because we always go on it , partly for the sit down but because when the effects work its quite a fun attraction, Just such a shame to see it falling into Merlin disrepair

On the contrary, I rode it on Saturday and most things seemingly worked. The only thing I noticed that didn’t was the smoke blast going into the Trommel.
