Liking Th13teen

I seem to never be able to link YouTube of of my tablet. Here's the name of the video, just paste it in:
Polar X-plorer POV Front Seat Roller Coaster Onride Legoland Billund Denmark 2012 HD

Then Rita would not have worked. Anyway, Polar X-plorer might have a better theme but the drop/ dark section is poor. After the drop, the train travels extremely slowly.

I think th13teen is a good step from rides like Sonic Spinball and Runaway Mine Train to rides like Air or Rita. It has a scarier theme and is more intense.
I agree 13 is a good intermediate step but I would say imo that sonic is more intense than 13

I do like TH13TEEN, just wish the outdoor section was a little bit longer as its over far too quick.

It's also themed and marketed completely wrong. Wish it had a more family theme than he dark scary run down theme that if has.

I do like Thirteen - I think it's a great family ride that fills a gap in the line up. The drop and indoor section are brilliant fun and never fail to put a smile on my face. However, as mentioned by others, the outdoor coaster section is very boring and should have been quite a lot longer. The fact that Pegasus, Europa-Park's most junior coaster, is more thrilling than Thirteen's outdoor section is not good!

Arthur, surely? Pegasus packs quite the punch!
That is a good point, completely forgot about Arthur.

However, Arthur is almost a coaster crossed with an omnimover dark ride, so from a classic coaster perspective, Pegasus would be the most junior. I know what you mean though. :)

You nearly recovered your mistake there, nearly :)

13 seems to get better and more liked with age, it's the marketing which made it a disappointment in my opinion, marketing a family coaster as the ultimate coaster isn't going to go down with those that expect a massive thrilling coaster. I'd say the worst thing about thirteen is they don't use sandbags on none busy days, sometimes you're waiting 20 minutes instead of 0 minutes for 18 people to turn up for the train to be dispatched, I don't get why they don't use sandbags, would make more sense than waiting for people to turn up. (Can get very annoying) :)

I enjoy thirteen, I enjoy all the build up through the queue and waiting for the torus to Buzz into life, always sit as far back as possible and enjoy the pull over the lift hill. It's not the most intense in the world but there is a little kick in there when you have the momentum of the train helping. The drop is fun ...I thoroughly enjoy it, and its fantastic in the dark :)

I love the indoor q line but the drop section could be toned down a tad.

I hate enthusiasts who are hate TH13TEEN so much. They are just obsessed about TH13TEEN's marketing which we all know wasn't the best. The marketing happened in 2010 not 2015 which is FIVE years ago! This forum 'Liking Th13teen' is not designed for people like that so can we all be positive.

I meant that it was a bit too scary for the young demographic for a family ride (the jump scare)
Kids can take a lot more than most people think and i think that thirteen's theme is just right for this age group but also making it enjoyable for teenagers and adults as well making it kind of like the perfect coaster in that almost everyone can ride it and enjoy it.

To be honest, to me, it is an excellent ride because it is a child's first 'intense' coaster. It is scarier than Runaway Mine Train but not as intimidating as AIR or Rita.
