Toverland: General Discussion

I visited Toverland for the first time last year, had a great time but went during Dutch half term Halloween Nights so it was very busy with 60 minutes+ queues for all the main coasters. Since then I'd vowed to go back on an off peak day. I've booked a week of bike touring in the Netherlands and already booked a hotel in Venlo on Monday 22nd September with the aim of going the following day and , bizarrely, that day they are listed as open 10.00 - 21.00, the only day in September when this happens. Anyone know why and if this then means it's likely to be busy? I've checked and can't see any special events. Having the opportunity for some night rides if I stay late is actually a bonus but the whole reason I picked this time of year is because I want a quiet off peak day to get some rides in!

Toverland have announced 2 new attractions.

One will replace the Blitz Bahn: It will be a different type of attraction, but it will retain the strengths of Maximus' Blitz Bahn ," a Toverland spokesperson told Looopings.

The other will be a dark ride but no other details have been revealed.

A sensible choice, the park has long since outgrown the capacity of Blitz Bahn. A Mack powered could probably be built using a similar footprint, though the station area might need some redesigning

The writing has been on the wall for Max Blitz Bahn for some time, but I'll be sad to see it go. And thank goodness, they're finally getting a dark ride! I have longed for this announcement!

It's been the victim of its own capacity. Great fun little ride and wonderful theme, but excited to see what's next.

About bloody time for a dark ride. Can't wait to hear the soundtrack.

2026 or 27 do we think? I have been thinking about a re-visit for a while now but will probably hold off now for the dark ride
