Hey everyone, my name is Kieron. Been here for a while but rarely post. However this coaster has been mulling in the back of my mind for some time and I wanted to share my experience as to why it ranks so lowly in my list and why I think Port Aventura should burn the ride to the ground.
Firstly the queue, now I can't really say I have quarms with the queue line as I didn't really have to queue in it, however for a park that is known for queue jumpers they really don't make it hard to queue jump. It's just a very elaborate cattle pen with really obscure and pointless theming. A queue line that was clearly designed in 10 minutes.
Secondly the station, not only do they not allow you to queue for front row and you have to get put where you're told the chances are you may get sent to the back row as was my first ride. Normally i'm more than thrilled to get back row but I now think being sent to the electric chair would be better than this. When you board you are lulled into a false sense of security with the standard Intamin restraints which on the surface are fairly okay. Despite the restraints snapping before (see video below) I still trusted them.

The doors that are meant to open on dispatch are permanently open and I've been told haven't worked since the ride first opened. Confused guests are stumble onto and off the ride by crossing the track and not the train which is dangerous in itself. Then you are taken to watch a <censored> pre-show which involves a monkey and some kind of wine.
You're hurtled out of the station building with a fairly enjoyable launch before doing a figure of 8 with the most juddery awful feeling I've ever felt on the coaster. The juddering pushes the restraint harder onto your shoulders and causes instant pain. Followed by a dreadful inversion which puts yet more pressure on your shoulder. By this point I just want the ride to end as the OTSR in bearing into my now mis-aligned shoulder bones. Finally to finish you off as you come into the break run the train jerks and the riders are forced upwards in their seat for a final stab in the shoulder.
They should tear the thing down.
