The Joker (Steve Eleky) is my least favourite part. It ruins the rythms of the show in my opinion. I personnaly don't find him funny, and he was part of at least 2 other shows in the past years with the exact same act. :-P

Another Soarin is being built at Futuroscope next year, and I've heard about a 4th one in Amsterdam but apparently not in a park. So after not having any for years, Europe is going to have 4 of them next year! ^^

I liked Soarin, so I'm looking forward to seing Europa Park's version of the ride. Sure it will be a great addition to the park. And it's great to see them building a big ride just next to the entrance as there is no ride there at the moment. :)

i'm there at the opening for many years now, and I can say that the ceremony is nothing special in my opinion. Even if I understand what is said, as I speak german, I don't really like it and I'm just impatient for the park to open after it. But yes I love the atmosphere of the opening weekend...

Sorry to disapoint you, but the park opening ceremony really is nothing special! It mostly consist in a long speech from Roland, in german of course. :P But sure you'll enjoy the empty park, and the very unique atmosphere of the opening weekend. :D

To be honnest, it does still look fairly out of place now. Even if an update was needed, this one has been quickly done and the result is a ride with poor theming, as the old one used to be. Many people that have been visited the park for years are sad about this changes without really changing...
