Alton Towers photographic character versions of the rides for the Thrill event coming this year

I'm really hoping that B&M just let themselves go back to their snappy routes. I don't really think trims on Nemesis is doable to be honest.

Another thing, if they do replace the trains, I hope they try and theme it like modern incarnations of B&M inverts. They could properly make the train seem like the alien, like in the backstory.

The only thing I am personally not happy about is the sand filling of the track. The classic Nemesis roar will either be reduced or completely gone and that’s heart breaking as its one of my favourite things about Nemesis. Other than that, its amazing.

I think the only real day that has hope of having the Smiler open is Halloween. I very much so doubt they’d open it just for one day, but considering it would most likely be their busiest day, if it was able to operate they just might. That’s wishful thinking though aha

Ugh, I just miss the drop straight out of the station. It gets your adrenaline pumping immediately. Heart broken I didn’t get to ride it in the dark. Hope its up soon for everyone else during Scarefest. Would be a pretty sad Scarefest if one of the biggest and most popular rides has been down...

They were accepting like 60 people per go, or at least whatever the counter goes down to as you go through the bollards as I don’t remember the exact number. I just remember it going all the way down. (this was on Tuesday)

Monday (18th) it opened midday after being down, for 30 minutes to an hour and then closed. On Tuesday (19th) it opened midday again and ran for quite a few hours, not too sure about whether it stayed open until 9pm, but it was definitely open for a long while. I got a ride on it.
