2016: General Discussion
I'd say that a map based on an aerial photo (rather than a 3 year old's interpretation of the park), but they'd probably use a photo of thorpe instead. They really need a new map design.

It currently showing online that there's quite a few days all through the year that the park will close?
For example the park is closed for 4 days in between Scarefest and the Fireworks weekend? Just seems crazy as this is usually a really busy week. Or will Alton open more as the season goes on?
Sorry if this has already been discussed)
That's actually probably the quietest week of the season. The week before is half term, it's cold and there are fireworks at the weekend and Scarefest the week before. There is no incentive to visit on those four days.

Oh yeah, has there been any differences with entrance, the maintenance shed, games or even a repaint? On the map picture the supports look Aqua.

Apparently for the new series of born survivor, they're going to drop Bear Grylls into the resort with only a park map to find his way around.
... and he will have to survive exclusively on supplies from The Burger Kitchen.

He'd ignore the food and drink outlets and be drinking his urine after 5 minutes anywayhe will have to survive on the food outlets that are open this year...
Strange, though technically the up doesn't run it until exactly 5 years after it became sonic, meaning it might get away with another week. No idea why they wouldn't have already been changed though.Bizarrely Sonic was still Sonic yesterday. Same audio, same signage, same colours

So they don't have to give away digi pass photos and claim "Sonic Spinball is not available on the digi pass, but on ride photos can be bought at the brilliant price of £7! Come back next week to get a photo for free off the exact same ride with a different name!
The maps seems to be fit as much on as possible (hides the closures nicely) making it even more confusing to read to actually navigate the place.
On sonic I'm sure somebody asked on Twitter and they confirmed that it was back to spinball whizzer this year guessing it must be a pretty last minute change to not be wrong on the map.
