There'll also be controls on when construction and piling can take place to try and mitigate the noise a bit. As far as I'm aware, most locals want Towers to succeed and do better, so I'm guessing they'd want this application to go ahead. With the two neighbour objections (uploaded to the SW8 planning documentation page on the 6th of June), I have a funny feeling that those two in particular oppose every application made by Towers. I foresee no issues with SW8 getting the go-ahead, of course, though it will be subject to any conditions laid out in the documentation.

I think I read in the application that it would be onle done between 9am-5pm Mon-Fri and not on Weekends or Bank Holidays.

Mmm wood
We could now see a good ride turned great with the time they have to build it. Let's hope they use the same amount of money on the hardware as the do for theming excavation etc. Look at nemesis and oblivion, they are solid rides on there own, but with the same amount of cash they spent on prep, theming etc, made them world class.
This could become that with that kind of imagination/cash injection.
Top ride type manufacturer
SW budget (looking at smilers £30+million)
Highly themed? (Theming structures)
I'm feeling optimistic about this ride.

viewed the website on a developers version of android and set the location as main street, walt disney world. however connecting with a UK IP address, that should confuse them

I can see them closing the Skyride under the guise of "H&S" :/I can see an increase in people armed with cameras wanting to ride the sky ride as constructions begins on the SW8.
I can see them closing the Skyride under the guise of "The Sky ride is currently closed while we sprinkle some Towers Loving Care across the theme park"
I've just corrected your post for you

Sadly I couldn't be less exited about this. It's starting to look alot like loosing your virginity. You wait all that time for that wood to be be put to good use, you finally get to the front of the queue and embark on your new ride and it ends up being highly pleasurable momentarily but over in seconds.
