Did have to laugh at the teachers lounge, which has to have a “new for 2019” tag

Nice new benches and seats but only for teachers with a sign up forbidding anyone else to use them. Do schools visit at weekends?

It’s that obscene dangling wire that offends me the most, that single thing just emphases the lack of care and attention that goes into Towers these days. Looks like something you’d see in a council estate and that goes for the teachers lounge too

I’m glad a ride I never actually want to ride is back open. It must look good with the bit of new theming they whacked on the centre of it.

It’s much needed added capacity for the summer and another ride for the ‘to old for CBeebies not tall enough for 1.4m rides’ which is under catered for, so good to see it back open.

Currently on a 50 min queue, crazy fools that they are waiting that long!

Well it was run as a simulator last season. Did you find it more thrilling?

When express parking went prebook only it seemed to be the end of the discount they gave to Premium Merlin pass holders, but it’s back.

You can book express parking online for £12 for premium pass holders now.

On park today. Very busy coming in was quing from alton to drive into the park. Shocked to find oppperations are actually decent and they even swapped to making people share boats on the rapids when it got busy! We have only been once this season so far and things seem much more efficient even though the park is busy.

Edit 1: anti scratch boards on the galactica Bridge are standing up much better than the originals. The swastikas and penisis graffiti didn't add to the themeing

To be fair to Towers, operations and ride throughput, especially on busy days is something Towers have always done extremely well at, best in the UK. It is only recently they let it slip, but it has been part of Towers dna since the early 90's and Tussauds. It is nice on that aspect to see them back, operating where they should be, or getting close back to it.

Yeah queue jumping doesn't apply if a teacher pushes in front of their students. Well it wouldn't if I were a teacher...

"Welcomes teachers to enjoy this space." Basically saying if you aren't a teacher you wouldn't understand or even care about the white boards, pens and textbooks made of the local trees within this space.

I'm surprised Towers haven't put watermarks on the screens like they do at some American parks. Or, if they don't want to do that, have a master switch under the counter to turn all the monitors off when this situation occurs.

Other people will soon get annoyed with those with phones out if the screen they're looking at with their picture is switched off!
