2019: General Discussion
Won't happen - that would be Towers Security actually taking some action, they are not too good at this.No but it's Easier to justify ejecting them from resort
When I worked at Towers [some 15yrs ago] you could have blatant queue-jumpers - with a 20min+ queueline all giving the same description of the jumpers. Security would turn up and just give them a warning on the "balance of probabilities that something may have happened".
As to ejections from the Resort - these are VERY rare. If the offender has come on a coach trip, they'll only wander round the local area and cause trouble until coach departure time. Far easier to keep them on the Resort to annoy other guests & appease the local residents.
Has anyone else noticed the staff calling normal coke "full fat coke" surely that can't be company policy?
It happened yesterday at the MB burger kitchen and my mum was really upset by it, I also recall it happening to me last year but I can't remember where and when, while it doesn't bother me, I can't see how anyone could not realise how degrading it sounds.

It's just a common misconception, people think sugar and fat are interchangeable terms sometimes.Has anyone else noticed the staff calling normal coke "full fat coke" surely that can't be company policy?

When I ask for fat coke in my quencher, if I’m in a pub they always know what I mean.
It makes you fat so therefore I’m correct, as always
Hopefully won't be too long until the Rapids are open!
Nice, but it still wouldn't stop someone standing on a seat falling out, another case of fixing a problem that only exists because people don't follow the rules.

Next step, enclosing the entire boat in a perspex bubble.

I suspect it’s to appease insurance premiums.
Half the H&S stuff we do at work is to reduce insurance premiums rather than actually achieve any great increase in safety.
