2019: Rulantica

Some more concept art, which I’m sure hasn’t been seen yet, was posted on Rulantica’s official Instagram page. Appears to show one of the restaurants. :)

Also, a picture of another slide being lifted into place!

Three separate images posted on Rulantica’s Instagram form a panoramic view of the water park. Seems like things are progressing well, with the final section of the roof (which was left open to install the slide) now looking like it has been enclosed. :)

EDIT: Europa Park just posted another panorama of the water park on their twitter!

Thanks for sharing Rob, I cant wait to visit next year and see it all open.

I know this seems silly, but it looks so small from these aerial photos, but you just know when you get there, it is going to be huge.

I know what you mean but believe me it feels massive in person. :)

Opening times don’t appear to have been released yet for Rulantica, however we know hotel guests get an hour’s early entry in the mornings.

Interestingly, if you go through the hotel booking process for Kronasar, it makes mention of the early entry and states it will be at 10am. It’s probably safe to assume therefore that the planned public opening time of Rulantica is 11am.

It seems a little late, however I’m guessing this might also mean a later close, which I’m all for. Swimming in the dark outdoors is one of the best parts of the Centre Parcs experience, so I can only imagine what it would be like to be sat outside at the swim-up bar in the summer as the sun goes down.

You can now book Rulantica tickets in conjunction with a hotel stay from 1st December 2019 onwards. Pricing is €38.50 for adults and €35.50 for children.

Just called up and added Rulantica tickets to our December hotel booking. As we originally booked under a 20% off offer they have given us the same reduction on waterpark tickets too, so €30.80pp. Happy days :)

How many days are people thinking for a first visit? If you’re there for say 5 days, does that merit one or two days at Rulantica?

With regards to visiting times, at present I visit Europa-Park for three full days and usually a few hours late afternoon/evening on the arrival day. For Rulantica, I will now be adding an additional night to my stays in Rust.

I certainly won't be doing any more than 1 day at Rulantica. It is smaller than the waterparks in Orlando (for now) and I only spend 3/4 of a day in those.

:)

It’s a good benchmark, although I think Siam Park offers more in terms of attractions.

I know EP did a lot of research on ticketing - we’ve been asked to complete surveys more than once. Perhaps the price point is intended to manage demand. It certainly seems like they’re expecting the crowds with the way they are offering tickets as almost exclusively pre-book.

I have a feeling the facades may well be finished in time for the hotel opening.

No construction fences for guests to look at...just a dirty big crane!!!!
