Factor in there are other ticket types that will be included in the overall capacity such as 241 offers that can be booked online, people that had tickets for March-June that can rebook online for a new date and bring a friend £15 tickets for season pass holders.

I checked too late so missed opening day but the 6th has something like 700 day tickets, extremely low then it ramps up to a maximum of 4500 day/2000 pass.
I checked out of curiosity and October is showing as 4500 day.

I’m surprised it hasn’t been mentioned already, but Towers Trading reopened today! Here’s a video walkthrough from TPW showing some of the measures in place as well as some of the new for 2020 merchandise:
 
How come pre book pass dates that were sold out keep becoming available again. That must mean they keep upping and upping the allocation, to which I want to know how they can do that when they haven't even opened the park yet to see how it will go

Give me a date IL check, I don't think so however, my guess is more payment glitches being timed out or manually cancelled.

It's increased capacity on the pass holder prebook package
It's now (for July)
04-10: 1000
11-12: 1450
13-17: 1200
18: 1800
Then 2000 onwards.

I guess they are shifting the allocations around from day tickets to pass holder tickets to provide more availability to pass holders.

That doesn't appear to be the case, day ticket capacity has also been increased.

After checking the passholder prebook,day ticket, season pass bring a friend and student day ticket I have some rough overall numbers.

04: 3600
05: 3000
06-10: 4000
11: 5750
(The student package is still configured for full 30k capacity for 13-17 so no useful info there)

Now these numbers I need to double check.
19-30: 11000
31: 6500

Edit: figured it out, it's a package not being offered for some dates that causes the drop at the end.
