Isn't the official line temporary delay not "routine maintenance"?
That’s only for stoppages and breakdowns etc. Routine maintenance is the line when a ride fails to open all day or they know it will be shut all day.

"Technical delay" is used for breakdowns usually. "Temporary delay" is used for non-technical stoppages like guest incidents (e.g. someone spewing) etc. That’s only for stoppages and breakdowns etc. Routine maintenance is the line when a ride fails to open all day or they know it will be shut all day.
It's what they told me when I asked the staff that it was down to a scheduled maintenance day, was a bit of a bummer but still had a great day at the parkI overheard a fellow guest saying staff told them it's routine maintence.
Cheeky towersOnline booking price for weekends and school holidays has gone up by a quid. Was £38, now £39.
Yeah hopefully they'll both be fixed by the weekend, as two out of four rides open in that area won't be great for the expected crowd levels.Nemmy and Funk N Fly haven’t reopened yet this morning. Hopefully they won’t be closed for too much longer!
They weren’t on Monday.Anyone know if the Towers ruins are open to walk around at the moment?
That's a shame. Probably because they are preparing to re-install the refurbished front windows. Was hoping to go up there on Sunday mind. They weren’t on Monday.
Good point actually.Knowing towers, they are probably preparing for scarefest
Remember when there were rumours about nemmy getting a refurb. Seems like a long time ago nowGood point actually.
Well, both Nemmy and Funk'n'Fly were closed all day again today. Hopefully they'll both be back in operation by Saturday, ready for the crowds.
That will happen though, I'd expect in the next couple of years.Remember when there were rumours about nemmy getting a refurb. Seems like a long time ago now
And now hilariously it's the smiler. What a comeback from that rideThere was a time Nemesis was the most reliable coaster on park ....
The fact that both Nemesis and Funk n Fly are down at the same time makes me wonder if this could be a power supply issue? Obviously not to the whole of Forbidden Valley but to those 2 areas?Good point actually.

Nemesis is just general maintenance. Yes I know staff are told to say this with whole day closures but I could actually see the engineers in the maintenance shed and on the liftThe fact that both Nemesis and Funk n Fly are down at the same time makes me wonder if this could be a power supply issue? Obviously not to the whole of Forbidden Valley but to those 2 areas?
