"Technical delay" is used for breakdowns usually. "Temporary delay" is used for non-technical stoppages like guest incidents (e.g. someone spewing) etc.

It's what they told me when I asked the staff that it was down to a scheduled maintenance day, was a bit of a bummer but still had a great day at the park

Yeah hopefully they'll both be fixed by the weekend, as two out of four rides open in that area won't be great for the expected crowd levels.
Plus I'm going on Sunday so need my Nemmy fix lol.

That's a shame. Probably because they are preparing to re-install the refurbished front windows. Was hoping to go up there on Sunday mind.

Well, both Nemmy and Funk'n'Fly were closed all day again today. Hopefully they'll both be back in operation by Saturday, ready for the crowds.
Remember when there were rumours about nemmy getting a refurb. Seems like a long time ago nowGood point actually.

I have to say Nemesis has had a hell of a lot of downtime this season, probably the worse out of any other ride this year. It’s definitely in need of some major work, as it just seems to be down for whole days now.
And now hilariously it's the smiler. What a comeback from that ride

The fact that both Nemesis and Funk n Fly are down at the same time makes me wonder if this could be a power supply issue? Obviously not to the whole of Forbidden Valley but to those 2 areas?Good point actually.

Nemesis is just general maintenance. Yes I know staff are told to say this with whole day closures but I could actually see the engineers in the maintenance shed and on the lift
