2021: Svalgurok & Snorri Strand (Rulantica)

Yeah it was open last week on Thursday whilst I did Rulantica, I believe it was open all week, as it was all turned on when we drove past on Monday.

It’s odd though as the website and all all have it listed as closed. Yet it was very much open (and staffed) right up until 10pm!

However the small Snori bit and the food kiosks were shut.

I really enjoyed the new area, it had a good mix of big and small slides, plus loads of water effects, Etc. I mean we didn’t spend too long out there what with it being October But I imagine it’s great in the summer on a hot day. It also looks really good at night lit up.

Grit is usually rock salt so you would basically make sea water.

...which is harder to freeze but easier to float in...another plus.
