Does anyone know if you can pre-notify about allergies on this? I'd really like to do Eatrenalin next year with my friend, but he is Celiac and worried how the experience would work for him etc.
Yes. When you book online you can indicate preferences and any allergies with checkboxes.Does anyone know if you can pre-notify about allergies on this? I'd really like to do Eatrenalin next year with my friend, but he is Celiac and worried how the experience would work for him etc.
Sounds great. I’ve seen it reviewed on Click (Soooo, I experienced Eatrenalin last Sunday during our visit to Europa-Park. I'm not going to give a detailed review, partly because I have no idea to really explain what happened but also because there is no way a review can do it justice.
We had the Exclusive dinner which cost a small fortune (€315) with the difference to the standard experience being exclusive wine pairings on some courses, extra food on a couple of courses, a reserved table in the lounge with aperitif refills, snacks, water, a digestif and coffee in the bar and a gift to take home. Was it worth the extra €60? Maybe not in terms of pure cost but yes if you want a truly special and memorable evening.
The whole experience is crazy, it is unlike anything I have ever experienced before or will likely experience again. It is so unique, and so Europa-Park. And I am not sure anywhere else would be able to pull it off in the way that Europa-Park have; without their high quality food and service it could easily feel a tad cheesy.
The narrative was all, bar once room, in German; so I am not too sure of the detailed story but you get the general gist of the journey you are going on. So do not let this put you off if you are considering it!
As for the food, it was so sooooooo good! I've not done a Michelin star restaurant before so cannot directly compare, but I am sure the food is on the same level. I have never experienced some many intense flavours in a meal before. And despite it being 8 courses, I did not feel like I'd eaten too much at all. The wines were also superb, but let's just quietly pretend that one of them was not Alza La Bloody Rose!
I am pleased that they only allow photos and filming in two of the room (as well as the lounge and bar), as this means that so much of the experience is a surprise. I was in awe during so much of it, floating around on the chairs is just so cool! As is all of the different ways they manage to bring/present your food to you.
Is it a lot of money? Yes. Is it worth it? So long as you appreciate good food, then yes! Would I do it again? Absolutely! Although I do feel that it is one of those experiences that is likely to be best the first time you do it.
EDIT:
I also meant to add, I was very impressed with how they handled both food allergies and menu preferences. I have a nut allergy but also don’t like seafood, and both were catered for no problem at all. It was just seamless!
