I’ve heard a rumour that the new set pieces are being assembled in the Sub Terra building. They’ve rebuilt the queue-line so the new pieces can be carried out safely.
I don't think they would spend the money on doing that for that purpose when then haunted house has a mass amount of space inside. I guess what they can build they would build in the area it's being installed instead of carting it from place to place

Well..... This is Merlin anything is possibld.

(He was being sarcastic)

I’d wager we might get some additional information before too long. Merlin’s typical announcement season is looming… early to mid January seems to be typical for Merlin to announce their new additions for the year.

If we haven’t received any additional information by the time I go back to university on 16th January, I’ll be very surprised.

Go back to uni on the 16th Jan from a Christmas break? That's practically halfway to Easter! 😂

Yeah merlins new Alton attractions (major) do usually seem to have more information spilled on them usually in January. I hope we do because the nonsensical speculation is driving me insane, will be glad to have some official information so it stops 😂
Commence the countdown then...

As for how far this project is coming along. Based on the timeframe, I would assume work inside the attraction is well underway. With a lot of new wherever they are putting in place already. It would have to be if they want a March opening.

It isn't even January.
Nothing has been confirmed, even about a possible opening date.
Bit early for a countdown isn't it?

It is but I am not counting down.

I am assuming an opening date based on the vast majority, infact the opening times of almost all of Alton's new rides, the first day of the season. It is not a bad assumption to make given the parks historical attraction opening schedules.

In any case that was not the point if the post, the point of the post was to simply suggest that work inside the attraction will almost certainly be well underway at this point.

It'll definitely be interesting if they'll remove the roofed crypt from the area, but it'll definitely give put a better view of the facade. So, you won't have to take pictures by the side now to get the full house in lol.

Look how different it looked back when Alton TLC were taking care of it for the 2017 season. Really makes a difference.
