He didn't mention Thirteen either... I wouldn't read too much into it.

It sounded like he was just reeling off a list off the top of his head, and when you've designed as many as John has, then I'm sure some are easy to forget!
 
He did a few media rounds saying he was brought in late on in Wicker Man and redesigned the first drop. Not sure I've ever heard any reference to Rita apart from that TV feature that time. In fact, it used to be the case that people would adamantly state he had nothing to do with Rita (maybe that is the case despite him mentioning it).
 
Thought the three main rides he was part of were Nemesis, Oblivion and Air and the rest were all as a consulting role and that's not including ofc RMT and HH.
 
I wouldn't read too much into any of it. He's a great talented guy, but let's not turn this into the Horizon or Duel thread where we hang on to his every word and try to interpret it into something it isn't.

Note the audience as well. In the TT event he was speaking to over excitable enthusiasts. On R5 he's presenting to the less initiated. The lesson here is, creative people hype creative things.
