I don’t want to know how many hours or days of my life I’ve spent in coaster queues
I queued in a very short queue recently. Excellent social distancing, no queue jumping, people doing as they were told, constantly moving, operations and dispatches were great. Host told me which area to go to, very polite. Problem was, there was a needle at the end of it and not a rollercoaster.

Do they sell one shot fastracks?

Nemesis throughput is down to around 8/900pph currently. This is more in line with what rides like Rita, Smiler achieve.

If all rides at ATR consistently hit over 1000/hour there would be no issues at all.

It makes you wonder what the fault is. If it was something common like a sensor or pneumatic actuator, you'd think they would have a replacement part and be able to change it almost immediately. Suggests to me that it's either an unusual part or something that is tricky to replace.

If you're visiting on a peak day currently and have no intention of fastrack I honestly don't think you can expect a valued day out.

The park already struggled before Covid on peak days. That's why I stopped visiting on them. Add in social distancing and also closed indoor rides and I can only imagine how bad it is.

I feel bad for first timers and newbies but anyone who is in the community knows what to expect surely on these days.

It's not that bad. The queues are shorter than pre covid

I don't think most folk visiting yesterday could have complained. Yes, waits were 60 minutes or over in some cases but with the park closing at 8.00pm, you'd still get on pretty much everything you'd want.

My friend is on park today and the air gates are still broken. In some ways I hope trhey're still out of use when I go in May. :p

Someone I know who's on park today has told me the social distancing is very poor in the smiler queue line. Advertised 50 when he joined, and it would've been from that point if people were stood on the chevrons as they are supposed to, ended up being 80 mins. Seems now there's a vaccine not many are taking distancing seriously

I bet 1% of the people in the queue have had their first shot though!
Exactly! It's also very frustrating as normally the smilers queue is pretty accurate and now I have no way of judging how long it will be if lots of people aren't distancing

Just get in the queue if you want to ride it!
An extra half an hours queue for one ride when you are going to be in queues for several hours over the day won't make much difference.

Can we please remember this is a Nemesis discussion. We have a Queue Time discussion topic, and a Coronavirus impact one etc.

I know we like discussions to be organic and move in different ways, but many of these other topics are also towards the top of the recent discussion chart.

I'm happier they've worked around the fault rather than shutting it for it. Regarding queues today, yes it hit an actual hour but it's the first post-lockdown weekend and it's been nice weather. It wasn't out of line with the other rides across park.
