[2024] Nemesis Reborn: Construction and Speculation

Well a loud bang was heard, the bolt popping out and landing somewhere and the sound of the bang the poster described is consistent with a bolt falling out and landing, the ride immediately being closed and a crane turning up to put a new one in.

I didn't say there was anything wrong with what he said, I simply asked if he actually knew what happened, or was guessing what had happened.
He could have known what happened if he had actually been at the park and witnessed the event.
To simply state "track bolt fell out" sounds like a statement of fact.
 
Does anyone know if the air gates issue has been fixed yet? If not, then that could be a reason for the unusually high queue time.
 
Something is up with Nemesis operations atm. Someone I know went today and queued over an hour even though it was on 2 trains. Nemesis never gets these queues

I can have whatever opinion I want realistically and there's nothing you can do about it. So instead of criticising people all the time for actually having this thing called an opinion, why don't you find something better to do. The whole point of a forum is to discuss things and share different thoughts and opinions, not everything people say you will agree with

But people have responded to your "opinion" with empirical evidence that proves it is misguided.

No one has any evidence whatsoever to prove nemesis will last beyond this decade. People are just coming up with reasons to suggest why it might be not why it will be. Also even if it is still here by the end of the decade, I said I think not I know. I could obviously be wrong, doesn't make my opinion misguided

Healthy discussion is great but I agree, let's not have things get too heated. Everyone is entitlied to their opinion, and equally those opinons are up for discussion. I think having an opinion that Nemesis will be gone by the end of the decade on an Alton Towers forum whereby Nemesis is the most popular coaster is always going to cuase quite a strong reaction!
 
Unless someone's got a time machine we can borrow, we'll have to wait and see what Nemmy is like in a few years. No point speculating about something which is hopefully a long way off yet. :)

That's very true. I will admit its good to see Nemesis drawing in big crowds. Not sure with the amount of times everyone's ridden it that we'd wait an hour, well some might idk

If coasters like Rita and spinball are also on an hour I know which one I’d pick. But it’s all based on opinions, which is one of the things that makes this hobby so interesting.

Oh I definitely agree there. I'd queue for nemesis over most the coasters but I'd rather not have to queue an hour for anything haha

Well I'm guessing it's related to the air gates issue. If guests aren't allowed to batch in the station like they normally would, it means extra minutes are spent per train to load it.
