[2024] Nemesis Reborn: Construction and Speculation

I’m sure they probably have, I know the harnesses certainly have as the other season they were all very white and new, it also wouldn’t surprise me if half the other parts have over the yearsHave the current trains not naturally been replaced anyway in a sort of Triggers broom kind of situation? Tonnes of new components would have been added to them over the years. Could we rule out a simple tart up of the existing ones?

???I can't see why Towers would fork out for redesigns or why B&M would do anything for free.

As long as it doesn’t get renamed Nemesis:The Trigger Experience I don’t care what happens, just grateful they are extending the lifecycle of what is still one of the worlds best coasters

Reprofiling elements isn't done for free. Nemesis works as a design so why change it beyond the additional supports.

Probably most of the components except the chassis have been replaced over the years as they ware out.
The chassis however, which is the main structural element and backbone of the trains is more than likely the originals.
Given the age of this, I see it highly likely they will replace the whole trains.
If you replace a chassis you are 85% there with a new train anyway, given how much of the train it makes up.
I think almost certainly we will be seeing new trains. Or at a minimum an extensive off site refurbishment of the chassis to bring it back to like new. You couldn't carry out a proper refurbishment on site, it is a specialist machine shop job.

Where did you hear that? Would be cool but extremely unlikely in my opinion.Heard the new trains will have lap bars lol

I don't think lap bars would be suitable for Nemmy anyway. It throws you around a little too much for those to be comfortable.
I think they will likely give the station a bit of a refurbishment but I doubt they will change anything major.I wonder if they will take the opportunity to make any redevelopments of the station.

Hopefully they touch the paintjob up again

Would you expect any sort of deconstruction of it to remove the track / mechanics?I think they will likely give the station a bit of a refurbishment but I doubt they will change anything major.

I'd imagine that the brakes and control system will be removed for at least a refurb. Hole in the station? Doubt they'd need it. Unsure of the exit ramp weightings but equipment could be removed using a telehander boomed out or loaded onto a forklift. Or use one of the big cranes that are going to be on site.

A remastered soundtrack would be nice.

If it ain't broke, don't fix it...I wouldn't trust Merlin near a soundtrack after the mess of Vampire.
And boy, does Merlin love unnecessary fixes...
