[2024] Voltron Nevera | Mack Stryker Coaster

Having just returned from a 6 day Germany trip (3 days Phantasialand, 3 days Europa Park), Voltron is straight on my "no ride" list.

1st ride was on an outer seat - vibrated like anything & headache-inducing. 2nd (& last) ride on a middle seat & not much better. I am used to taking punishment on rollercoasters (travel a lot to do so) but this was too much. I rank Voltron along with the former Gwazi incarnations at Busch Gardens Tampa Bay. Rough, rattly, not fun to ride at all.

But if Voltron keeps the queue away from Wodan, Blue Fire & Silverstar then I am all for it.

I've just returned from a Europa trip myself and rode Voltron twice. Inside seat both times and it was pretty smooth. Very intense, yes, but not rattly. I must have been lucky! Two of my group rode on an outside seat though, and came off with headaches. Personally I absolutely loved Voltron, and it's now my favourite coaster!

I find that some rides on Voltron were glass smooth and others were very rough.

I find the consistency exactly the same with Hyperia as well so not sure if it's a Mack thing for it's newest coasters 🤔

Have we all just returned from Europa?

I've done a fair bit more 'testing' of Voltron this week and I still can't say I found it rough. The outer seats can be more intense, yes. I think the braking for the turntable has been tamed since last year, thankfully.

Euro-Mir is the only rough ride in the park imo, especially the brake run if facing backwards.
