2025: Toxicator - General Discussion

Wonderful! Shall be avoiding it in the summer then. Slightly surprised that they are going down that route if I am honest. Hopefully it won't be quite the same as a drenching from Ripsaw!

I believe they are temporary crowd barriers and not permanent bollards as shown in your photos, primarily due to having a ground base and not being cylinders. Drilling numerous deep holes for temporary bollards would be rather excessive and not in the spirit of Merlin budgetary policy.
Yeah, they were the only thing I could find on Google Images. Similar concept where you essentially have a hole in the ground they slot into

From seeing Ripsaw in person and videos I've seen, I think most of the severe drenching was when the fountains were controlled manually - not sure if they can be manually controlled on Toxicator?

Someone saw this first thing on Sunday morning, this could be what we're in for in the summer months!

I wonder if the will do half the day normal cycle and in the afternoon they turn the fountains up on the warmer days. It would give those who don't want to get soaked a chance to ride it

It would be great if it was personalised to the guest by being able to control each fountain separately (i know this won't happen) or even run 1 side wet and 1 side dry if that was possible. Maybe some interaction with the ride host, "cheer if you want to get soaked' at the start of the ride and they can decide based on how loud the reply is.

Imagine being able to control other peoples' fountains.

They could always monetise it like the water guns at battle galleons, giving the spectators the opportunity to decide who gets a drenching for £1 a time. My kids would be all over that in a heartbeat...

So would I, as I am at the Battle Galleons paid-for guns! 🤣 🤣 🤣

Ditto, I'll be waiting until Scarefest when it's too cold for the fountains 😛

Call me boring, but a sign at the entrance that they changed daily showing whether or not you’ll get wet on ride would be great.
My theory is they have put the dryers there, like they have next to the galleons, so it should be assumed wetness will occur

Would hurt to confirm though, especially in the late Spring / early Autumn when the weather's neither here nor there. Again, maybe I'm being old and boring but I'd love to ride and stay dry so would appreciate knowing when it's safe to do so.

What are the general thoughts on the ride experience then? Haven't been yet to experience it but no doubt will do so at some point this year.

I have heard it's less intense than some other models which I personally would welcome. I found Talacon a bit too much really as well as the one I did in Dubai. My stomach just doesn't handle flat rides like it used to do in my teens and 20's sadly.

A Gyro Swing next please Towers. Heavily themed of course.
