[2025] Toxicator: New Forbidden Valley Suspended Top Spin

I wouldn’t expect coloured smoke because to my knowledge, liquid based smoke machines can’t do this effect (similar as to why the steam off your gravy is white). I think the only way to achieve green smoke is through the use of pyro based effects, and the pods/cartridges would need replacing multiple times per day to keep the effect going which would be a throughput and operational nightmare, not to mention very expensive!

I expect the fountains to return and the water troughs to either be coloured to bright green, or bright green LEDs will shine up through the trough (think swimming pool lighting) to give the effect of the toxic green slime.

The horizontal platforms that appear to extend beyond the fountain area would be to protect guests walking through the tunnel from any water spray.

A lot of people on here including me have expressed our desire for the park to have a more thrilling water ride, but one where you can adjust the wetness based on seasonality. Toxicator kind of kills two birds with one stone in this case - it’s a new thrill flat and water ride combined.

Hmm... I'm thinking that it'll be as much of a water ride as Talocan is at Phantasialand meaning the fountains will be for show.

I understand that the fountains were part of the issue that Ripsaw and Ramases Revenge both experienced before their downfall.

I'm thinking that there will still be a desire for a Flume 2.0 or similar until they add either a flume, water coaster or shoot the chute into the park to replace The Flume.

You can get smoke jets with powerful LEDs round the nozzle, that can give the illusion of coloured smoke. Not the most effective in daylight though. ;)

Totally agree. Are there any Suspended Top Spins that have any fountains actually wet riders?
 
I'm still not won over by the name

I wonder how much knicker-twisting will be going on to try and fit this into the "lore" of the area. Also, assume "spring" doesn't mean it will be ready for opening day and might be more Easter time?

March is considered spring, I wouldn't read too much into it they probably put it there as I doubt many general park goes would know that the park reopens in march so it is probably better to say opening in spring (also doesn't give a definative date if delays occur)

I'll be watching out for the lunatics in the 3 hour queue on opening day morning like for Nemesis and Alty Mans. The latter was especially entertaining as the queue went down to like 20 minutes towards the end of the day and the next day

Yup it should be noted that Alton Manor was listed as “Coming in Spring” in its January press release, and Nemesis Reborn didn’t have its opening date announced until a press release on 21st February. They’re just careful until they can be sure of a more solid date closer to the time, that’s all :).
