I really hope they theme this well, but I really hate the direction forbidden valley theme is going. its gone from a more fantasy / comic style to a generic bland military style

Theming - worse (exceptions being Wickerman & TCAAM)
Soundtracks - worse (Ug Land, TT, Nemesis, Air, Towers Street, CATCF all better)
Food - worse (Towers St Family Restaurant and Swiss Cottage used to be open and sell food. KFC was better…)

Why are people judging already? It’s January 24th, the park doesn’t open for another 7 weeks. There’s no access to Forbidden Valley during the KidsPass or Blue Light event either so no early peaking in person. Let’s just wait until March 15th and then make a full judgment on theming and stuff

It’s pretty clear from the video uploaded today that they aren’t showing the whole ride area. I assume this is because they want the theming and FX elements of the ride to be be a surprise, so cut them some slack guys.

Agreed. It’s also pretty likely it’ll open on 15th March and since it’ll be there for Alton After Dark I’m expecting the same level of lighting package as the rest of the Valley got last year.

Can’t wait for the themed toxicator room in the hotel. Slime in the toilet, horrible smells, funny noises, horrible green colour splattered everywhere…

Oh wait…. Nope that’s just a standard hotel room but after eating Aramark food.
