[2025] Toxicator: New Forbidden Valley Suspended Top Spin

Do we think Nemesis might be getting green water to tie in with the Toxic theme? Or has that ship sailed for Nemesis?
I doubt it, as there might be a similar issue to the one with the red dye. It would be easier to light the water green with underwater green lights.

Press release states it will have "Green-lit water fountains on both sides of the ride"

Edit: Sorry, just realised you said Nemesis!

This makes me happy! FV hasn’t felt the same since the chugging sound of the water fountains disappeared.

Now I just need it to be a summer afternoon so my aching legs can rest while I sit with a cider and watch people get blasted with water.

Sorry to disappoint you but I believe the fountains won't actually be aimed at riders. For a start anyone walking through the underpass would be in the firing line, and these days HUSS don't recommend water effects that hit the gondola as it increases maintenance and makes parts wear quicker.

Well that’s a bit naff. Could easily erect a splash zone warning sign and let people use the other path if they choose not to be sprayed. Most of the time you’re wetter from the Staffordshire rain!

Wasn’t aware HUSS no longer recommend water effects hitting the gondola. When did they state that? Is that why Ripsaw ended up so battered in the end?

Yes. It completely ruined the mechanics.

I am a little dubious of the extra overspill basin on either side of the fountains that makes me think there might be a little spray on the gondola, but nothing like what Ripsaw was capable of, especially at the end of the day in summer, that made soaking an understatement

If it's anything like Talocan they'll be mainly for spectators, getting close to the ride without actually hitting people.

With the location of the ride above a path (which I'm still not convinced is actually a good idea), running the ride through a wall of water would just result in soaking the people below which would result in some very unhappy bystanders.

I won't be riding this much. Used to love a good topspin back in the day but now I'm 20 years older and can't handle the intensity as well these days. Last few I have done made me feel rough all day.

One and done I think for me and I will leave it to the end of the day too so I don't ruin my day.

Great to have a new flat but I was hoping for a Gyro swing dug into a pit so it would fit under the tree height.

As much as I like easy erections, the "underpass" is intended to be the main route. With this route being the natural flow, it's likely guests will ignore the erection and get wet anyway.
