I can fully foresee people having a moan about being batched into the “front” or “back” side especially if the RAP or whatever always gets the row facing away from nemesisWon't be attending in protest at the lack of front row queue, they've really messed up this time.

Tbf as they’ve got all queues merging at the same point there is no excuse for batching not to be equally distributed.

Great that it has single rider and some screens with some green graphics on them.
That way, the under 1.4mtr height kids can be bored, stood in front of the empty Blade pit, for 43 less seconds less than they otherwise would have been whilst their parents take it in turns to stand in a 2+ hour queue plus breakdowns chomping on a £20 sawdust burger.
Eat your heart out Phantasialand. Fire effects and a mix of attractions suitable for all the family has nothing on some flashy green lights and a concrete underpass leading from an empty site where a ride used to be, to a randomly "themed" and tame B&M flyer covered in algae.
ahh the “how dare anyone say something positive about a new ride because of all the other bad things” post.
Yes the lack of rides particularly for the under 1.4m guests is disgusting and it’s been and continues to be discussed in multiple places but folk can still talk positively about positive things surely?

Well said @Dave
So many faults across the park yes.
Even this ride isn’t perfect. The gondola could do with something.
But - as I think you’ve said in an earlier post, capex is high recently and the standard has been pretty good.
You cant criticise Merlin for this.
You can however be critical of the other ‘issues’.
But credit where it is due.

He won't have a moustache this time, the story will be that when Nemesis got him, it just took his moustache and let him go. That's my predictionPersonally I'm waiting for a Youtube short with A-level production values to tell me what I need to know. Still reckon they will bring that man with the moustache back somehow

Loving the detailing, kinda surprised there's no tentacles crawling up it though.
Something I noticed with the video the other week, and again here, is how oddly nice the colour scheme looks alongside the greenery of the valley

I completely agree, it actually fits in really well and stands out from the red and black of the rest of the area. Yes Toxicator could have been red and black as well, but that would have been boring in my opinion.Loving the detailing, kinda surprised there's no tentacles crawling up it though.

I wonder if/when Galactica gets a retheme it'll go black and dark blue? If it does, I think that will look very impressive.I agree, it's something different to the black and red of Nemesis & Sub-Terra, but still seems like it fits in
I remember during the fireworks display's finale the screens were briefly scrolling through all the colours of Forbidden Valley and the only one not currently anywhere is the dark blue. May have been just an artistic choice to have them showing like that but given how many other easter eggs were in that display I wouldn't be surprised if that was planned.

I'm also surprised that each entrance has it's own gate, so the entrance host will have to open and close four different gates. Would have thought it'd have been better to have a single gate then a small area before the four entrances, like Oblivion has.I do find it absolutely mad that a topspin has 4 separate queue lines.
For the coasters 100% understand a SRQ and would use them frequently. But this makes absolutely no sense. It'd be like putting a single rider queue on Hex.

My guess is that means they can close off the single ride, fast track, etc if they want to operate without them (for instance a really quiet day)I'm also surprised that each entrance has it's own gate, so the entrance host will have to open and close four different gates. I've been assuming it'll go the same lovely shade of blue that's on the side of the drinks booth, when they eventually get round to it....I wonder if/when Galactica gets a retheme it'll go black and dark blue? If it does, I think that will look very impressive.
I've said it before but I'm really liking the big bold colour coding that's forming through the area.

Green and black. It looks very imposing from the photos I’ve seen post of the monorail but I still think the green is at odds with the rest of the area.
Wonder what the merch will look like…

When Air got the retheme into Galactica, supposedly, it was meant to get repainted to the deep blue colour in the video below. However, the budget was decided to go towards repainting Nemesis as part of the TLC program instead. The deep blue colour would fit the Phalanx brand while maintaining its core identity, as every ride has a sub-brand as part of the wider Forbidden Valley aesthetic. Give it a repaint and a minor retheme with some additional theming features and have a Spaceport/Top Gun theme around it.

the one thing I would do with gal is change some of the station design, make it a bit more open and implement a similar style of bag lockers as hyperia has, as I think it would aid in achieving maximum capacity more consistently.

Oh no, Nemi would have spat him out from having stomach aches for how slimey and greasy he tasted haha.He won't have a moustache this time, the story will be that when Nemesis got him, it just took his moustache and let him go. That's my prediction

Does anyone think we could see a dedicated Toxy tv advert like we did with Ripsaw?
Can you cut it?
The advert released today was notably absent of any mention of the thing.
