[2026] CBeebies Land Junior Coaster

I am not fully on board with this Coaster but the revision plans are better than having a large warehouse maintenance building and less trees cut down the better, also that plot could be used for another ride a Jungle Bus style ride would be good for Cbeebiss Land.

And who's to say Postman Pat won't be relocated within the park. There's a large space at the back or Cbeebies Land near the back. Or more preferably relocated to The side of the 4D Cinema

Agree, there’s enough space around CBeebies for a new location for this coaster and a relocated driving school (which always was the best place for it)

The spinball plaza could be pushed back and the Santa’s grottos relocated freeing up enough room.

Still seems an odd decision

I've just popped up an article on Towers Street with a summary of the updates, though I think the majority of them have already been covered on here.

There's not really any other sites within CBeebies Land that would be big enough for either the new coaster or a meaningful relocation of Postman Pat. Postman Pat, like most rides of the type, needs a big footprint, and the new coaster isn't much smaller.

The only other real option in CBeebies Land for an addition of this size is further expansion into Adventure Land, to remove the old Spinball food outlet, probably along with the Photo unit.

Could it not be relocated in between the old Mr Bloome and Justins House quite a sizeable plot of land there probably enough rook for Postman Pat Ride System with tweaking to the layout or be relocated to next to 4D Cinema area on the path way which will lead to project Horizon

Unfortunately, that site is actually quite a lot smaller than the Parcel Post site, probably about a quarter of the size.

It would be comparable in size to just the station and final bend of Parcel Post, so wouldn't really be suitable. That's the thing about those 'Vintage Car' style attractions, they tend to need quite a lot of room even for a small layout, especially if you include theming.

Plus that site has two historic trees on it (at least pre-theme park, probably pre-war), so the park would be unlikely to be able to put any foundations down in that area without disturbing the roots.

when is post man pat expected to close and construction begins, it is supposed to be opening next year and postman pat still is open

No word from the park yet. My best bet would be either just before the summer holidays or just after. After would make sense for capacity but it depends on the construction timeline. If it’s opening March 2026 it’ll need to be sooner than later though I can see them opening it for the Easter Holidays rather than first day of the season.

I'd imagine there being a small event to wave Postman Pat off. Something like Postman Pat is retiring or something similar 🤔

Likely after the summer 🌞

The planning docs state an estimated 34 weeks of construction, though if we learnt anything from Toxicator's planning docs, it's that these estimates aren't always accurate.

That said, we are currently well within the envelope for a 34-week construction period. Postman Pat would need to close before summer for the new coaster to open at the start of the season, or at the end of summer if they're aiming for a May opening.
