It's certainly an odd place for it, there is another one planned for Southport. The Snowdonia one was also in a stupid location. You would think that they would be better placed nearer to where the surfers are, can't imagine there are many in TraffordConsidering the Snowdonia one shut last year, I can’t see people queuing up to fund the thing.
Yes Peel have money, but they’re pretty risk averse - and the surf lagoon isn’t a guaranteed success.

Sale waterpark? The indoor waterpark make sense but the surf centre doesn't.There’s a massive water sports centre and lake just two junctions down the motorway from the Trafford Centre. Probably ten minutes away.
