I hate that ULEZ has become this weird conspiracy theory thing.

Also hate when people can't keep their mouths shut and use their businesses to push the own agendas. Particularly when they work in the leisure industry. One thing to use your own personal account but to publish political agenda through the official park account?

Wrong'un, but no surprise with the company he clearly keeps.
 
Took a walk down the front after work. It's up! Seating all on too, looks ready for testing.

As the whole park is down in the estuary it doesn't look massive from the elevated outside, but it is big. Alongside the wheel, which doesn't feel small, it's just a bit taller.

The testing clip I've seen looks a bit lacklustre, I hope it ends up having a decent drop to it.

It's a bizarre addition considering there are already TWO other drop towers in this small park. Presumably the one by RAGE is going (if it hasn't already). Can't imagine they can squeeze anything else in there but then they are quite good at that so who knows.

Nope Sky Drop is still there I believe!
 
So just had our first rides on Vertigo and…. It’s Croc Drop. Same sequence and everything. View is much better. My son still prefers Sky Drop, it’s faster, bouncier and you get a longer cycle.

Also there are now 4 drop towers in the park all operating 😂

I filmed a whole cycle but think it’s too big a file so here’s the drop. Sorry about the angle, could only film from the queue.

Hmm, won’t even let me post any video due to “extension”. I tried.

Yep! I know the park has their limitations but if they’re seemingly keeping Sky Drop it seems extra strange.

Didn’t seem particularly popular either and had 3 staff running it versus the 1 of most other attractions (though may have been training)
 
It’s being reported that Adventure Island had to shut its gates early on Monday due to a violent mass disturbance taking place on the Southend seafront outside it.

I’ve seen some footage on social of media of what appears to be people fighting with machetes outside the park, which is quite bizarre seeing people attacking each other with Rage very visible going round in the background behind them, it looks like something out of The Warriors movie.

Once in 8 years versus three times in 1 year, bad luck or something amiss?

We go on Rage all the time but a bit anxious about it now, i'm not sure how my son would be evacuated in that position.
