B&M family invert for Happy Valley Shanghai

It's more or less a copy of Vekoma's SFC at Fun Spot, just done by B&M. It'll be a great ride, just like the Vekoma, it's just odd to see that layout this kind of ride done by B&M with the bulky B&M track. I'd love to know how much this cost in comparison to the Vekoma equivalent.

Anyway, what the heck's going on!? Mack doing Intamin's megalite and B&M doing Vekoma's SFC. Crazy times. :p

Re: B&M family invert for Happy Valley Shanghai

Vekoma are refusing to sell coasters to China at the moment I believe due to obvious issues with certain Chinese companies. So presumably they wanted to have a similar ride and just put it to tender?

Who kidnapped Walter and Claude this is b&m we're talking about, a major thrill ride manufacturer not a family manufacturer like vekoma and zamperla! Probably great rides but seriously b&m, next parks like drayton will be upgrading to the brand new improved smoothness multi million troublesome trucks. It just doesn't suit b&m as there is already a lot of family and thrill manufacturers out there. They are suited to thrills. There Is Mack, Intamin, Vekoma, Zamperla and gerstlauer out there, not to name the defunct ride companies and Chinese knockoffs. There needs to be specialists in just thrill coasters, family coasters and kiddie coasters not the same companies with all of them. It's like inverts, smooth and spectacular compared to stand ups. The really small ones could be as rough as pinfari rides

Think you need some fresh air. Outraged at a company accepting money and in return creating a product that doesn't harm anyone or affect you. Are you seriously going to ride something like Nemesis and think it's ruined because the company that built it are building a family ride half a world away?

:D I just find it a bit odd that there starting to go into the family market really, the first half was a joke but I just hope it doesn't mean the company starts to build less thrill rides. Tbh I want to try it because it looks quite thrilling for a family ride. I just hope they don't start re branding themselves like thorpe are. I would quite like a few of their rides in the uk to see what there like but don't want them to focus on it too much and only make 2 thrills a year. They do actually look pretty good. I wasn't outraged though a bit surprised at them for deciding to branch out. If only more pop up but don't affect the amount of thrills they build I will be happy because I don't mind it but just don't want to see a brilliant company stop building rides like nemesis and permanently start building more family rides than thrill. If they were thrill rides with inversions and made so families could ride more that would be good. A bit like gerstlauer with the euro-fighter. Low height restriction, high thrills. It could even make them a better company than ever if they managed to build rides as thrilling as nemesis but so families could ride. ;D well done b&m, they more you think about it, the better it seems.

Every company will do everything for a price. You could get B&M to build the longest coaster in the world, if your pockets were deep enough :p

I'm waiting for the B&M Monorail system.

Strange.

It looks like its been built on RCT3 hitting autocomplete after the first drop.

B&M are getting used for propaganda though. That'll teach them to be the best!

And here is the most eagerly anticipated POV of 2014!

Not sure what to say, I suppose it's fun!

:)

Would I be right in thinking this is the first B&M without a seperate break run to the station?

Indeed it is. It's also the first B&M designed to run only one train.

:)

Whilst watching that POV, I was expecting an inversion, then remembered it was a family coaster. It's so unusual from B&M.
