It was closed last weekend too. I wonder if its on its last legs now. Though given its small footprint I'm not sure about coaster could replace it.

Despite heavy hailstones, it has reopened... Surely not for long!
Edit: just been evac'd off big one's brake run, very very nearly valleyed just before the new track. MCBR seemed to try to stop us but didn't try in time to have much effect. National and rev also closed

I've missed something, I believe it has been resolved using Rob's method (unless it has rolled backwards?). Train has gone from MCBR and one is sat outside the shuttered station

Is it me, or does The Big One stall a lot?

I feel like its last stall was only a year or so ago, and I feel like I’ve heard of it stalling multiple times in the last 5 years, but I could be wrong there…

Well, it's very tall and located almost right on the seafront. The wind is a major issue because of that. Oddysssey at Fantasy Island suffers from the same problem (and only stalled the other day).

Apparently, this was a controlled stop, and the sensors told the park that it was too windy to run Big One so they stopped it on the mid-course, where it could be easily evacuated.
