Blackpool Pleasure Beach: 2025 Discussion
Bringing the park back to theme park!I only post the most exciting park updates, so today's is no exception...
String line has appeared on the Grand Prix site, it appears to consist of a pathway to the fountain, a circle around the fountain itself, and a small path to where Icon's speedy queue lives. There's also a branch off it to the learning garden.

Congratulations to the marketing team for this one

Facebook advert which somehow manages to avoid mentioning where you're buying tickets for, with a ridiculously zoomed in picture of Launch Pad, with the 99 outside the viewable area, and the small detail of it actually being an amusement park forgotten.
Looks like one of those posters the local travelling circus ties to lampposts

Maybe its intentionally generic, people are probably less likely to click if they know the offer is for Pleasure Beach

I would assume as several of the attractions are franchises of Merlin brands they won't be able to.Pleasure beech should partners with the council to provide a Blackpool attractions pass now Merlin is out of the picture
Her ladyship has already spoken about it, saying she hopes to work in closer cooperation with the council.
She also said that "the resort" was the nations most popular destination for tourism...I thought that was London, by a million miles.
Edit...Sandcastle and "Showtime"(looks crap, anyone been?) are to be managed by the new company as well.

Can't blame the council for Sandcastle as they only really took full control last year, they have been out recently giving the exterior a much needed lock of paint.
I kind of agree with Showtime, it is underwhelming but as a local I get free access so can't complain too much

I assume we’re referring to Showtown, in which case it’s a reasonably good museum. There are some fascinating bits and pieces in there, including some great old posters and advertising, some Sooty stuff and even a letter from Walt Disney talking about the Illuminations.
Pay once to get it and you can return for free al year, which is a decent value I think.

Not much left of Bowl-a-drome!
