Blackpool Pleasure Beach: 2026 Discussion

Ironically I’ve actually wondered whether this user is genuinely real or just responses posted by an AI bot…
I am real, not a bot. To clarify just have my own opinions on AI.

It has been announced that the Pleasure Beach will be hosting the 2026 UK Theme Park Awards

Also, Aviktas has swung for the first time!

Looking great can't wait to ride this the ride experience should be amazing will be one of Pleasure Beach top rides

It's definitely something PB needed for sure.

They have a lot of attractions there but none of them are cutting edge anymore. Historic coasters mostly and dark rides too. Even Icon isn't topping any coaster lists, despite it being a modern style coaster.

To have arguably the best flat ride on the market in your park....is a pretty good selling point.

Yeah but knowing Pleasure Beach they will forget to sell it. Year Icon opened I was getting targeted adds for pleasure beach on social media with Ice Blast as the ride being shown, and no mention of their brand new roller coaster.

I live within 2hrs of pleasure beach and don’t see a single advert for Icon.

Looks class tbf. Cant wait to give it a go.

Should have installed one of these years ago around when 2/3 European parks started to get them. PB late to the party as ever but im still really pleased weve finally got one here.

There’s something really special about seeing any new ride working for the first time, whether it was the little Bluey coaster pulling out of the station last week, or this absolute monster.

I expect I’ll be back at Pleasure Beach for the first time in years and years this summer, not specifically to ride Aviktas but it certainly helps, so in that respect it’s done what it was supposed to do with me! I really hope it’s well received and gives the park a boost in numbers.

Any river caves updates from that video
Looks very tired still in need of a good Jet Wash I reckon this will be the next project after the removal of Grand Prix and Aviktas is complete. Needs repainting a good clean as well as waterfall fixing and model village returning to look good again.

Having ridden Loke at Liseberg I'd probably say it'll be the best ride on the park.
Be interesting as the park has Valhalla when has all effects operating is incredible to compete with

It also appears to have what might just be the biggest air gates I've ever seen
The whole batching area before boarding looks identical to how it does on Loke so far, the airgates were pretty much a full-sized door on that too, the op cabin is also in the same place as Loke. Not sure if it’s because that’s what recommended by Intamin or Pleasure Beach have just decided to copy Liseberg again.

This is easily going to be one of the best flats in the country when it opens, and the views of Blackpool/the Park (not to mention the Irish Sea too!) are going to add so much to the experience. I really want to see this pull people over to Pleasure Beach.
