S&S Steeplechase demo video:
Does it really make sense to build another F&B unit across from FY4? I know the park needs more covered food service but does that mean that FY4 closes and if so what then goes there?
All a bit confusing.

I've been tempted by a BPB season pass for several years but never jumped due to the number of visits required to get value out of it. This deal *could* prove the tipping point.
IMO the addition of Oyster and champagne bars are not good decisions. The decor in that bar under the Flying Machines is also very questionable too. Trying to be posh but looks cheap and nasty. Admittedly it's only a small thing.
I get that she's a toff, but it's still the Pleasure Beach and it's still in Blackpool. They should be selling donuts and candy floss, not champagne and Oysters! XD
I'm tempted too, but even at £99 you still have to visit 5 times to start saving money with how good the online prices are. That plus the discounts aren't good enough in the park, and it's hit and miss whether you'll actually get a discount too going by some friends' experiences this year. And you still have to queue for an eternity to get a wristband. Would be ideal if they maybe used the south entrance for hotel guests and season pass holders?
For me, any season/annual pass is more about having the flexibility to go to a park on a whim or for part of a day than it is about saving money. I am 30 minutes from the Pleasure Beach, just over an hour from Alton and my London office is in Westminster meaning I am 10 mins walk from the Southbank attractions and short train ride from Chessington or Thorpe, so if I have the option to go for a couple of hours on an off peak day, without paying gate price - that's where the value is for me.I'm tempted too, but even at £99 you still have to visit 5 times to start saving money with how good the online prices are. You can always enter via the arena entrance which rarely has a queue. Also, season pass holders can pick up their wristbands from the information desk in the casino building, skipping the regular wristband queue.
I imagine they will put about a fiver on a wristband from the opening of Icon.
But the season tickets are for next season when icon will be open - you ludicrous lancastrian !That's because Icon hasn't opened yet you trembling tyke.
