I just realised Pasaje Del Terror turns twenty this year! Is it any good these days? Are they doing anything to celebrate?
It's an attraction with an interesting history. Apparently it took the owners several years to convince Geoffrey that it would be viable, suitable and popular for the park, and of course, it was an instant hit. I remember when it opened, just walking past that big (actually quite beautiful) sign freaked me out, not to mention how LOUD they used to blare the sounds of people apparently losing their minds with fear on those TV screens. Apparently it was very intense when it opened, and a young teen, I declined a trip down the stairs, which is probably for the best. I remember a lad in our year claimed to have been in, though, and I actually couldn't believe the idea of the chainsaw ending at the time. Ironically, it's now absolutely soft compared to some of the extreme haunts elsewhere, although I understand that it opened with a full crew of veteran Spanish actors back then.
I think that if BPB were to gain a new entrance plaza leading out onto where the Mouse stood until recently, PDT would be a casualty, despite it's consistent popularity over two decades. I'm not sure if it totally matches Amanda's more family-friendly vision for the park these days anyway.
