Not been on park today but I live in Blackpool, it's been very wet and windy (40mph+ gusts) which tailed off after lunch and by about 4pm it was reasonable weather (still a bit windy though)

Yet still they shut early. Very poor.

So I went to complain, thought there would be a fair few people who like me were not best pleased! Guest services was empty, not a soul! Is it because you haven't had to queue all day like Alton? So people still feel as though they are getting their moneys worth?

The girl was okay, she mentioned the Ts and CS, and offered a rainy day discount pass as a gesture of good will! Hmmm...

I highly doubt track on a dark ride built in the 1960's was advance enough to tilt inside a trommel tunnel.

Having ridden it since the very early days, I have absolutely no recollection of the tunnel track tilting, ever.

only ever rode solo and can’t remember it being double before

Yeah I’d think so. Merlin’s log boat sales went to charity, but I can’t see this happening with BPB. Interesting that the description states it is one of 8. There were once 12, I’m guessing the other 4 were used as plant pots or binned years ago.

Also notice they are selling some job lots of Skyforce / Red Arrows merch. Perhaps they haven’t sold well

Why? I can see across the coast to Blackpool and it appears to be bright and sunny
