I believe the Lego parks come under their own separate division? The best performing park in the Merlin portfolio when you look at margins, and profit per guest is actually Thorpe Park, or certainly was a few years ago.

Certainly not now. Thorpe had a terrible year last year, and unfortunately also spent the most they've ever splashed out on a coaster (I think) on a mediocre yawn-machine from B&M. The Swarm has really failed to fire up the public imagination - probably because compared to Thorpe's other offerings, it's just so damn average.

Lego, Windsor at least, is now part of that Merlin Attractions Operations company. So I believe they're all in it together now.

In other news from BPB - Peter on CPBE has spotted that Nick Streak now has a second train. It was testing earlier today but only 1 train was on the track, the other was split in two on the two holding tracks. Hopefully this means that on peak days it'll be getting its desperately needed capacity boost.

Had to look twice at the slipper car to see if it was duct tape! The new shells do look really smart.

As for a second Streak train, the ride ops will truly have to be on their toes to have them both running at the same time.

In other news from BPB - Peter on CPBE has spotted that Nick Streak now has a second train. BPB's classification of 'peak day' is what truly decides this though. I've been there on what appear to be relatively busy days and every coaster has been running on one train regardless.

I'm guessing you didn't visit on Halloween as everything was running to the highest capacity possible with a very quiet park, it really was fantastic too see BPB running at it's best for once. Even The Grand National was on 4 trains all day with no queue during the day and a 1 train wait later on!

Must have gotten lucky. BPB is a vile place when Infusion/Big Dipper/Avalanche/PMBO are all on one train.

How much are they paying for this ride? Not being funny but those trains look a little...tacky. Then again so does most of the rides. Not bashing the place before anyone says, just an observation. As someone has already said it looks like duct tape!

The facade will indeed have moving parts, presumedly being the cogs.

Looks awesome! This ride is absolutely classic Pleasure Beach. A silly, fun, laugh-a-minute old-fashioned dark ride that doesn't take itself too seriously. And it looks like it'll be a PROPER dark ride, none of this virtual reality or wall-to-wall screens nonsense that has infected dark rides of late.

Had the pleasure of visiting for the first time this season today, just a shame the weather didn't want to cheer up.

Oh dear. Apparently there was horrific downtime yesterday as well. Let's hope it was just first weekend problems - I'm going next week and expect everything to be running perfectly

The number of times we saw Rev perched on the edge of the outer leg being held by it's stop brake, then have to get winched back... Well, it was too many

They did their best with the rides I have to say though, was still a great day out I have to say!
