Obviously the main reason for me going on Monday is Icon, but I also haven't done Revolution before. Has anyone got any tips for riding Icon and Revolution for the first time?
Does closing earlier than advertised for no legit reason not come under false advertising laws?
Not sure, all I know is that their T’s & C’s basically say that opening times are subject to change. They can seemingly do what they like.
So jealous! Enjoy it and report back.Received a phone call yesterday from the pleasure beach... New hotel opening has been delayed by at least a week so I can't stay on the 1st of June.
The good news is that they exchanged my double room at the boulevard hotel to a king suite at the big blue. Result
You got a source? Seems pretty dicey, as it'd be effectively reforming a contract after the point of sale. They are hardly the first company to stitch people up with T&Cs. How many of you pay attention to all those cookie warnings before you click "OK"?
Some shops in America have started adding fine print to the bottom of their reciepts saying "by buying this product, you agree not to leave any negative comments or reviews about it or our company anywhere on the internet. If you do we will sue you"... And they have, too.

I meant tips such as best seats.Get in the queue....sit down on the ride when its your turn
Glad to help
Great floaty airtime on the front ico, decent ejector on the back. Back is 1.50 height as its the large person seating areaI meant tips such as best seats.
I might not fit the back then as I'm super slim. What's the best seat on the Revolution?Great floaty airtime on the front ico, decent ejector on the back. Back is 1.50 height as its the large person seating area
Exactly! - worse fitting restraints means better ejector! I think this is the reason I get so much ejector on B&M hypers.I might not fit the back then as I'm super slim. What's the best seat on the Revolution?
Right...
The east entrance has never, ever been season pass holders only.
Not for a single day.
You got money or an online booking, they let you in, always have.
If it is open or not on specific days is another matter.
Half a dozen days last year we were refused entry due to events, or simply locked out.
Revolution...front seat, best view on the way there, scary whip off the drop on the way back. Long queues if it is only on one train.
Icon...keep left after the scanner if you want a front seat...the gatekeeper may not let you.
Back seat gate is right just after the scanner, back left seat you can touch the track when upside down going through the first inversion if you are tall. Naughty but nice.
Anyone over 1.5 metres can fit in the back seats, not just lard.
Any seat is good enough on rev or Icon.
Expect it will be very quiet, so icon may only be on one train, with about a ten minute queue.
Monday is to be the only dry day next week locally, you may have hit it lucky.
Good luck.
Thanks Dave.Rev front row if you can. Also if you’re tall you get better leg room in the front row of any car. Great view as you launch and awesome when the track drops from beneath you
Thanks Dave.
