Blackpool Pleasure Beach: General Discussion
The woodies mainly need better trains. They always feel like they forgot to refit the springs on the axles.
The layouts (Blue Streak excepted) are great, but the seats feel like they are made for the 1910, 5ft 8st. customers who are used to riding their cast iron bike over the cobbles to get there.
The state of the peeling wood should be addresses too; particularly in sections by paths or next to the Icon track. BPB looks the best it has probably ever looked in the 40+ years I've gone there: and that is letting the place down now.

Ive been lurking for a while, but just signed up as the last part of this year ive defiantly re-discovered my love of rollercoasters.
Im looking at the PBP platinum pass on the website, but due to being 2.5 hours from the park - i cant make it to any of the registration dates.
Does that count me out?

Just been emailed by BPB, Platinum Pass 2019 for renewers is £99. I thought I saw £90 quoted recently. Bizarrely, the current season pass is still £189 with just a few weeks of the season remaining
So, is the £99 price for anyone til end of Oct, but it’s less for renewers?

Typically amazing BPB coordination and communication.
Yes. How hard can it be to clearly state a renewal price or email a discount code to those renewing?

Who would have thought giving them money would be so hard. We were meant to get the discount code two weeks ago!
