Brean Theme Park

That ghost train they have was pretty decent the last time I was there. Apart from that though it wasn't great.

Weston and Brean have really gone downhill over the last couple of decades unfortunately.

If I’m misremembering, correct me, but I believe Weston lost all of its coasters following the pandemic. You would’ve thought this could’ve improved fortunes for Brean but evidently it just isn’t a big enough draw to get day-visiters from surrounding sea-side destinations such as Weston and Minehead.

I think Sooty has travelled around a number of theme parks over the years, ever since his discovery on the North Pier in Blackpool by that very nice Harry Corbett back in the fifties...
Had a show at Camelot too.

Correct me if I am wrong but Brean is the only one to be the main setting of episodes

I'm afraid I'm not a solid glove puppet specialist, over his 46 seasons, but I think he might have played out on the rides at Camelot on the show.
Further research required I'm afraid.*

And very off topic, again.

*Edit...further research, the then owner of Sooty's rights was the brother of the Brean site owner, hence the link and mutual promotion.
He also appeared at Crealy, Winter Wonderland at Hyde Park, Belle Vue at Manchester (god bless it) as well.
He cost seven and six at first adoption, so 37.5 of your new fangled pennies.
Stunningly, if you google camelot/sooty...there is actual video on you tube!

I would get out more, but it is raining again.
