The last picture looks rather... Colourful! Squirrel Nutty clearly has eaten the wrong nuts and is on some bad trip! ;-)

Whoa! Thats damn bright! People are going to be blinded by the SNR station. Although it looks great, I'm getting kinda worried it'll be a bit in your face, if you know what I mean.

The only thing i'm worried about it what this will look like in a few years, CCL looks very faded and dirty now, and even the Smiler has areas that are dirty and need a good clean. I hope with the BBC behind this, Merlin will have to keep on top of it and keep it looking at its best all the time.

Just found out there is a Postman Pat film coming out this year:

Coincidentally it is being released on the 23rd of May, looks like that weekend will be quite big for CBeebies characters

That paint work is going to be a big job to keep it looking good and I just hope they do because they have failed every where else. But I live in hope

they have taken one of the best themed areas of the park that has staid looking good since it opened way back in the 80's and painted it loud and proud and within 6 months it will look awful . It was so natural . I know Children will like but it just won't stay looking like that . And it would be so hard to get back that beautiful look again . I wonder if they sanded down all the areas were those bright colours are painted because it will chip like mad. Someone mentioned Ccc Land and it looks awful too green mould on the ice age sign the mushrooms have hardly any paint left on them. I seem to be putting a downer on this but they are slowly ruining the park and it will take a lot of work to put right if ever.

The farmyard area was starting to look quite run down in recent years, did you not notice that squirrel nutty's station was beginning to look very worn? Half the roof thatching was missing in places and the once lovely ornate windows were looking very discoloured with parts of the wire framework on the theming showing through.
I really don't understand how re-doing the whole area and re-painting it bright colours is a bad thing... can we just have a little bit of optimism please :
