If this is true, they remove a opening day attraction, but make up for it by bringing back an old Attraction.

5th Dimension or Terror, I'm down for it!!!! Surely it'll do well as either is just a direct upgrade from Tomb Blaster.

Same Model I think, only difference was one was inside and the other wasn't. I wouldn't be Surprised if Chessington decides to put up Rocky Express just in a different area and named something different

Black Hole was a Jet Star 2 and Beast was a Jet Star 3. Main difference I think is the Jet Star 3 had an extra spiral on the lift.
 
Nothing is going to happen to Tomb Blaster. Not for a while anyway, especially with developments such as Amazon/Jumangi, other upgrades and more accommodation (no doubt).

The attraction for the short term at least will likely remain untouched. Like a lost forgotten tomb. Appropriately.

@rob666 Someone on a Facebook group sent me the following. I was asked this on the post but its Scorpion Express and Seastorm if it happens that is but as i said already when you hear the same rumour more than once it usually happens x. As for the Forbidden Tomb rumour it is highly rumoured all over the internet.
 
I guess that in many cases, he isn’t wrong, but I’m unsure that that on its own makes a rumour happen. It could, but for numerous reasons, there have been plenty of examples of widely spread rumours that never happened; take the fabled Towers RMC rumour in 2015, for instance. That ultimately didn’t end up happening (although I’ll admit that it may have been planned at some stage, for all I know), despite being spread very widely.

A week in to close season and your rediculous rumour bingo board must already have some whoppers crossed off.

NST reopening, Alton installing loads of new permanent flats. Check.

B&M cross valley hyper at Towers. Check.

Tomb Blaster reverting back to Terror Tomb and Scorpion Express closing. Check.

My dabber is hovering over Air tunnel theming at the moment.

Each to their own, but I don’t personally think that the bolded in particular is that ludicrous of a suggestion at all given that the RetroSquad was a big success this season. In fact, I’d say that all of these are plausible, although some possibly aren’t especially likely, in my view.

It’s been said that investment into the RTPs is increasing now that KIRKBI and Blackstone own Merlin again, and Nick Varney has even been on record in an interview saying that he wants to expand and grow the value of the Resort Theme Parks portfolio within the company.

The fact KIRKBY or Varney have stated intention doesn’t mean we give credence to every rumour going.

I remember the rumours on Rideas when Air was being built (rollercoaster milestones make you realise how old being just about still in your 30’s is!). That was the end of the golden age of Towers when we had no reason to doubt and millions had been poured into the park and still the rumours where often wildly out of kilter.

Sometime rumours are true, sometimes not so much, always have a critical of open minded eye on things.
 
Let's face it, it's not hard to increase investment when you're starting from the base they've been at. My ex employer used to slash thousands from us then put £500 back in, call it "investment" and expect us to be greatful.

Can everybody please apologise to me for shunning my information. I knew last closed season that Forbidden (Terror)Tomb will return. Hopefully you won't accuse me of making information up,now you can visually see it.
