When you pack in so much fastrack that the ride wasn't designed for that you have no queue for the actual queue. That photo perfectly sums up Chessington today

Isn't that slang for an STD?In other Chessington-related news, their new pirate ship has been named The Blue Barnacle!
But it's nice to see Vampire getting some love for its 30th anniversary!

The new lighting:
The fixed organist is good though. Hey, they could even make fixing things a regular feature!

Yeah, I get what theyre going for but it's just done half and half. Bits N pieces is far from making something of the ride again.Cartoony spooky works in modern Chessington, nicely synced, dark station, hints of the old theme in the new. All rather good.
What fans dont see in these "updates" is it's all a load of flashing lights in one corner of the station, the rest is still an empty box and a lifeless corridor where there was once a great themed queue. There's now no lighting at all in the rest the station so theyre apparently having to turn on worker lights?!
It's an improvement, but how did the ride get into such a state in the first place? And why hasnt there been a proper total refurbishment to get it back up to standard again
It doesnt feel like a headline ride at a well known European park
