To be honest I'll take any coaster big or small I ride them all and Chessington went a long time without a new coaster so will take this oneThat's very very optimistic. Personally, given that this is Chessington, I'd expect to see no more than 3 individual ride cars.

It's a pretty significant investment. But despite investing large sums, Chessington like to spend their money on low capacity attractions.

Is not as old as you think it opened in the year 2000 making it only 25. Twirling Toadstool was much older being 33. I would send Monkey Swinger to Towers just to bolster their ride lineup for a bit
A new one is 0 years old and less likely to fall apart
Drayton Manor got a new one recentlyI'm thinking a traditional wave swinger would probably never be allowed by the insurance killjoys these days. I doubt we'll see one in a Merlin park again.
Theres multiple on the fair circuit that have been traveling for years longer and ones operating longerA new one is 0 years old and less likely to fall apart

You can get one with maglocks now I think. If Chessie get a replacement, I could see it having them.

Think Uncharted has 3 maybe 4 cars.
The presumed layout doesn't exactly have many block sections to allow for many more vehicles.

Uncharted has 3 cars, if I’m not mistaken?
Its theoretical is 900pph, and when I was there, it was attaining just over 700pph in the brief snapshot I was able to time. I’d imagine we’ll see similar on this coaster at Chessington.
That’s pretty diabolical for the biggest theme park investment in UK history if it ends up that low, considering how long the queues are at the park for some of the rides with higher throughput.
Not to mention the multitude of queue lines and how popular this will be. Two hour queues could end up being the standard.

I mean the only ride at Chessie that has over 700pph nowadays is Tiger Falls. Maybe Mandrill Mayhem (no idea what that runs at).
900pph would make it as good as 3 train Vampire.

I'd completely agree that the highest capacity ride at the park is Tiger Rock, the Log Flume. It's likely the only ride that reaches 1000pph.I mean the only ride at Chessie that has over 700pph nowadays is Tiger Falls. Maybe Mandrill Mayhem (no idea what that runs at).

Mandrill I'm thinking is approximately 750-800pph. Theoretical capacity is 840pph.
I'd be surprised if 3 train Vampire makes much difference to the capacity to what it is with 2 trains now. I heard the reason it never runs 3 trains nowadays is because of the marginal boost to capacity and it's operational procedures which add to the batching times.

It hasn't run 3 trains since 2010ish. Certainly early that decade.
Made a massive difference to capacity if you had a good team on it. Increase of 200-300pph. 20 seconds to dispatch trains. Great times.

The type of ride could have quite a variety of capacities, it depends on the final layout (2 station, separate unload / load etc) and the final block zones, gringos (at universal, a very similar ride type) can handle arround 1,400pph

The plans show a single station unfortunately, with no separate unload platform. The type of ride could have quite a variety of capacities, it depends on the final layout (2 station, separate unload / load etc) and the final block zones, gringos (at universal, a very similar ride type) can handle arround 1,400pph
