Chessington World of Adventures Resort

I'm thinking a traditional wave swinger would probably never be allowed by the insurance killjoys these days. I doubt we'll see one in a Merlin park again.

Uncharted has 3 cars, if I’m not mistaken?

Its theoretical is 900pph, and when I was there, it was attaining just over 700pph in the brief snapshot I was able to time. I’d imagine we’ll see similar on this coaster at Chessington.

That’s pretty diabolical for the biggest theme park investment in UK history if it ends up that low, considering how long the queues are at the park for some of the rides with higher throughput.

Not to mention the multitude of queue lines and how popular this will be. Two hour queues could end up being the standard.

Depends we won't know capacity till it opens

I mean the only ride at Chessie that has over 700pph nowadays is Tiger Falls. Maybe Mandrill Mayhem (no idea what that runs at).

900pph would make it as good as 3 train Vampire.

I'd completely agree that the highest capacity ride at the park is Tiger Rock, the Log Flume. It's likely the only ride that reaches 1000pph.

Mandrill I'm thinking is approximately 750-800pph. Theoretical capacity is 840pph.

I'd be surprised if 3 train Vampire makes much difference to the capacity to what it is with 2 trains now. I heard the reason it never runs 3 trains nowadays is because of the marginal boost to capacity and it's operational procedures which add to the batching times.

It hasn't run 3 trains since 2010ish. Certainly early that decade.

Made a massive difference to capacity if you had a good team on it. Increase of 200-300pph. 20 seconds to dispatch trains. Great times.

The type of ride could have quite a variety of capacities, it depends on the final layout (2 station, separate unload / load etc) and the final block zones, gringos (at universal, a very similar ride type) can handle arround 1,400pph
