The problem is however that people being able to go to B&Q to buy a BBQ isn't important but is allowed. Someone sitting on a beach reading a book getting fresh air and helping their state of mind in the sunshine is not.
There's what's allowed Then there's what's allowed And finally there's what's allowed.... Having in effect 3 rulesets is what leads to people working around the rules in mass Sent from my SM-G960F using Tapatalk
Maybe B&Q should be forced to close aisles that don't sell essential items? So you can go down the plumbing aisle, but not the BBQ one?
Some stores have done that, my sister mentioned the not fun b&m having done as such. Depending if they ship home delivery orders from the stores (like Sainsbury's and co) it might be viable, might not. Sent from my SM-G960F using Tapatalk
I keep seeing the argument what the problem over sitting on beach etc, but it’s such a simple argument once you let one person enjoy a few hours on the beach to help with the state of mind what’s to stop everyone saying the same. Overcrowding beaches and parks only leads to problems.

I think people need to remember they are just opening for delivery and even when lockdown was started they was still aloud to be open as they are classed as essential. Too many online news articles are misleading people by claiming McDonald is opening instead of saying opening for delivery only.
Which is going to cause issues as delivery couriers have to go inside, so public will try doing so and take it out on McDonald's employees, when my sister's place closed for Christmas people kept walking up past the sign saying they were closing early and the several people sitting outside trying to walk in the closed doors... Surely they'll only open sites that have a drive thru? Therefore delivery lads don't have to step inside. I keep staring at the Maccies over the road forlornly.
Most delivery couriers for Uber eats don't officially use cars so that's not practical. Sent from my SM-G960F using Tapatalk
We are following the science they keep saying yet there was never any science behind the two meter rule what else are they lying to us about https://metro.co.uk/2020/04/25/two-...e-conjured-nowhere-professor-claims-12609448/
The ironic thing about McDonalds being closed is that I've actually put ON weight in the time they've been closed! Good on McDonalds for all protective measures I say, even if they only offer drive thru I still think people will use it, and those protective measures are very reassuring. We all saw the queues when they closed, it'll be interesting to see what they queues are like when they reopen!
I wonder how far people are willing to drive to reach the 15 that are open, Will the police be waiting outside to check how far they have drove
This is Boris Johnson we are talking about, I could have told you before he was voted in that he is not to be trusted with the Truth. I wasn't the one of the majority that fell for his lies and voted him in. He loves to tell people what they want to hear, not the facts
A bonus, sacking off the brekkie menu as it's not great. @RoyJess I'm just disappointed nobody put a strong challenge against him tbh.
Government lying now also includes the testing numbers hitting the 100k target, including about 27k postal tests that were sent out today. Therefore anything can be termed as complete as long as it's in the post.
