I don't think things in shops have become over priced, more that online things are under priced for a couple of reasons.

A lot of the online big boys have been selling online at a lost to maintain market share and relevance, an investment really.
Those that are making a legitimate profitable trade online will have miniscule overheads for staff, rent, insurance, utilities etc compared to high street outlets. It's not a level playing field.

As they say, people know the price of everything and the value of nothing. You've got to decide whether supporting the traditional structure of society is something that is important enough for you to pay in to.

Retail will never be the same again after the lockdown. People trying to sell on the highstreet are going to have to find a way of making themselves relevant again.

My biggest problem is my local high street/town is 40/50 mins away by bus. It’s annoying I don’t have anything closer but it’s the Time and money it takes to get to the high street that’s making me more lean to ordering online. I’d rather support the high streets but if it’s not financially possible then my hands are tied. I do however order from anywhere that’s delivering locally I don’t mind paying a little bit more to help the independent traders.

There's always a debate surrounding whether visors should be used by itself. I think in a retail setting a visor is perfectly suitable as it will protect you. I've seen a few supermarkets with staff wearing just visors so hopefully most employers are/will be flexible with meeting individual staffs needs.

I think that's where there seems to be not a lot of consideration in masks being mandatory on public transport in England. Those with disabilities or respiratory issues are covered, however there seems to be no thought for those who may struggle mentally, have anxiety or suffer with claustrophobia.

Even with disabilities that shouldn't be a catch all, but they don't out the specifics upfront where it's easy to access.

With Alton Towers reopening 4th of July, are the English free to travel wherever they want? I was under the impression people were still to stay at home if possible.

Free to travel within England but not stay overnight or go into people's houses, still advised to remain home if possible.

Which is weird when places of business are open. If we're meant to stay home as much as possible why have them open at all?

No one needs to visit a zoo and yet everyone is so happy they are open. I don't see the reason for staying at home as much as long as you are comfortable going out and you keep to the rules. I can't wait to visit Knowsley Safari Park but I will be waiting until the rush dies down before even thinking of visiting a zoo. It should be down to each person's own judgement of a situation as to whether they should still be at home or not.

Frankly, I can't believe that in 2 weeks I've left the house three times and been inside four buildings. I genuinely thought I would be indoors until end of summer at least. But we've picked and chosen places based on what we think has the best measures in place and the most space inside to be able to avoid people. There are still some places I wouldn't go into even now.
 
The advice (in England at least) hasn't been centred around staying at home for weeks now - that was dropped when the government changed lockdown measures and the slogan to "Stay Alert...".

There's definitely a strong focus now on recovering the economy, rather than containing the virus, BUT it should be noted that the infection/mortality rate continues to drop, albeit slowly. The best graph to see this is that published daily on the CoronavirusUK Subreddit:

I don’t mind it when tourism starts back up as it’s all limited capacity so it’s not to bad. Obviously it will be nice to know exactly what will have to stay closed. I guess it’s just nice having anything open.
 
"Stay alert" rather than "stay home". Although the advice is to stay home as much as possible, there's now an expectation that more of us will be moving about either for work, leisure or shopping etc. Ultimately we need to adjust to the new normal. We can't live indoors in perpetuity.

It's worth noting the law was changed at the last review and since 1st June the police have no authority to question anybody who's outdoors. Previously it was an offence to be outdoors unless for a reasonable excuse. That is no longer on the statute books.

No-one yet knows what will happen from the 4th of July, just that is the earliest possible date that things might be less restricted.
At the moment restrictions are starting to be lifted and you can travel to walk and visit some places and see friends outdoors.
It might be that from the 4th outdoor venues such as theme parks can start to open, but indoor places such as pubs and cinemas may need to stay closed, at the moment anything could change.
 
Arriva UK bus posted some examples of who's excempt from wearing a face mask on buses.
Why do I get the feeling that me with a legit reason not to wear a mask is going to end up being the only person wearing one because of People lying about disabilities...

^I mean what that basically says to me is that there's no chance of anyone not wearing a mask being challenged, because what poor staff member is going to want to risk upsetting any of those multitude of exemptions?

Probably right, arriva UK bus have added a cornavirus exemption card to the page with existing disability alert cards, but they even say they won't require it!

I see there being more luck on rail where RPI teams could enforce.

If another passenger made a fuss I would just say I had asthma, and show them a screenshot of that page.

Who's going to bother about it anyway? If they're wearing a mask themselves, they're protected. If they aren't, they're in the same position as you.

Talking about masks, presumably one is also allowed to remove it to eat?

Well actually that’s a big misnomer about non-medical face coverings - they’re not so much for protecting you (they’re fairly useless at that), but rather for protecting others against spit/sneezes/coughs etc that you accidentally, um, ‘emit’.
