But we're back to square one... the purpose of the sign is two fold, one which you are alluding to and one which you are ignoring. Forget about its "Don't do it function" - that's not disputed and of course it's impossible to track how many people haven't entered low zones because of them, because the only people we can count are the fatalities and injuries of those who choose to ignore.
The other purpose, is the "So you did it, got killed/injured - we DID warn you" - that's what this is all about.
I agree that there is that aspect also and it is something I have alluded to. Towers have always had signs stating that rides areas are dangerous, instructing guests to keep out. I personally think these signs are sufficient, they warn you of a danger, they tell you it is a ride area, they tell you to keep out. If you go in and get hurt then well you've only got yourself to blame. Does it need to be spelled out every few metres along a fence, which is now the case at Towers, that you might DIE? I really don't think so, it's an overkill if you'll pardon the pun!
