Hard to tell whether I'm staring at Thomas Land or Thorpe Park.

Last night was a weird one when watching the updates, I understand and respect there are big adult followers of Thomas. But It’s the whole watching people go crazy about the Thomas exhibition that was something I was not expecting it. As I said I fully respect if that’s your hobby/lifestyle but to honestly get more concerned about wether a toy train has melted then if the park was damaged or if the animals was safe was something I was not expecting.
While I agree with this, they're not "toy trains". They're models that were used in the TV show.
The toilet block pictured in the images and also some damage to an adjacent shop.Hopefully, it's just contained to a toilet block? It appears that way from the images.

Has anyone got a picture they could post of what the toilet block and shop looked like before the fire? The toilet block pictured in the images and also some damage to an adjacent shop.

I assume it's the shop on the other side of the toilets that you access from the plaza area, as you come into the park.

They say no rides were damaged but in the 1st picture uploaded by Ciaran on the floor is Jeremy Jet supports for the planes.
They will need to be tested if the heat from the fire has weaken them.

That's a good point. They will also need to be inspected for damage as well. They say no rides were damaged but in the 1st picture uploaded by Ciaran on the floor is Jeremy Jet supports for the planes.

@MattyH put one on Discord this morning. Either look on there or persuade him to post it on here.@Rick I have never been to Drayton Mannor myself, could you please show me a street view or a photograph of the gift shop that has also been damaged by last night’s fire?

@Thameslink Rail do you know if the shop is totally burnt to the ground or just slightly singed and repairable? Also do you think the toilet block will be repaired/rebuilt to its former glory for the first day of the Drayton Mannor 2021 season?@MattyH put one on Discord this morning. See @Ciaran's posts at the top of this page. As for whether it will be repaired, I don't know the looping group's financial status but I doubt it will be particularly healthy, they will probably fix it quite cheaply while they try to fix Drayton's overall poor situation.@Thameslink Rail do you know if the shop is totally burnt to the ground or just slightly singed and repairable? Drayton Manor got there annual pass on sale and it’s valid for 12 months from the 1st day you collect it which is good.
https://www.draytonmanor.co.uk/tickets-and-prices/annualpass
mine currently been extended to the 30th Sept and depending on the tiers and now this they hope to open for Feb half term but if not the start of April with passes extended to the end of October.

The building in question, is this one here, right next to the park entrance. Edit: Street view photo has already been shared.
I bet Drayton are glad they ripped the insides of Pirate Adventure out now, as if that went up, a fire would have caused far far more damage. Obviously it is not good, but the fire has not caused too much damage and should be easily reparable. Very lucky!
